Aurion

One record from first enquiry to filed return

Aurion runs its public website, client portal and back office on one platform, so a prospect, an engagement and the documents behind it never leave the same record.

The problem

Professional-services firms tend to run on a patchwork: a brochure website, an inbox for enquiries, a spreadsheet for the pipeline and shared folders for client documents. Every hand-off between them is manual, so leads go cold, engagement status lives in someone's head, and sensitive documents travel by email attachment.

  • 01 Website enquiries landing in an inbox rather than a pipeline
  • 02 Client documents exchanged over email instead of a controlled vault
  • 03 No single view of a client across advisory, tax and accounting work
  • 04 Back-office staff re-keying the same client details into several tools
02

What we built

A single platform with four surfaces on one backend: a public website built for search and lead capture, a client portal, a role-based admin back office, and an API that carries CRM, content, accounting and communications. A lead captured on the website becomes the client the portal serves and the engagement the back office runs.

  • 01 SEO-led public website that feeds enquiries straight into the CRM
  • 02 Client portal for engagements, requests and a secure document vault
  • 03 Role-based back office for staff, content and client management
  • 04 Embedded accounting and marketing communications on the same record
  • 05 Event-driven modules so each part of the firm can change independently

The result

What the business can do that it could not before.

01

No lead falls through

Enquiries arrive in the pipeline with their source attached, so follow-up is a queue rather than an inbox search.

02

One view of the client

Advisory, tax and accounting work sit against the same client record, visible to whoever picks it up next.

03

Documents stay controlled

Client files move through the portal vault instead of email, with access governed by role.

04

Content without developers

Insights and industry intelligence are published from the back office, keeping the website current without a release.
